Tax Director

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a growing regional public accounting firm in Juno Beach, Florida (FL) is seeking a Tax Director. This role reports to the Tax Partners. • Review of complex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
• Review of high-net-worth individual returns
• Research and draft memorandum involving tax matters
• Identify tax planning opportunities
• Train staff on new tax codes
• Handle and resolve tax controversies
• Train, mentor and supervision of staff

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting
• CPA is a must
• 10+ years of public accounting tax experience including tax return preparation and review, and tax law with ability to research
• Expected to have good communication skills and correspond both orally and in writing with clients and tax authorities
• Experience managing and mentoring staff

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

• Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
