Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in North Palm Beach, FL (preferably) for a Hyperbaric Facility Accreditation Coordinator. The HFA Coordinator supports the department by providing administrative services and assists the director in implementing the goals of the Society's HFA affairs programs. The position reports to the Director of HFA and the UHMS Executive Director.

The department communicates the quality and safety standards as established by the Accreditation Council and the UHMS. Internally, the position is responsible for monitoring the quality assurance initiatives established by executive management to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 certification maintenance requirements.

Essential Job Functions
  • Assist the department management team in functions supporting the UHMS Facility Accreditation program
  • Record retention and accuracy
  • Program promotion
  • Data analysis and database management
Other Job Functions
  • Assists management with administrative tasks such as tracking and compiling information of interest
  • Prepares various reports detailing the administrative information handled by the position
  • Reads and answers correspondence
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems. Assists surveyors and facilities with HFA needs
Requirements
  • Must have good typing skills
  • Clerical skills are a must
  • Must have good computer skills (i.e., word processing, database, spreadsheet, etc.)
  • Must have good communication & attention to detail skills
Other Skills/Abilities
  • Follow up on all outstanding invoices related to the department
  • Prepares correspondence and other documents, as required
  • Provides reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annually defining progress in areas of responsibility
