Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Project Management Consultant-Level 1 - Associate
This position assists in the overall management of assigned projects to ensure compliance with budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals. The role supports construction work performed by contractors and vendors at the project site. This is an office-based role that can incorporate travel on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance on assigned projects.
- Participate in walk-downs of planned work and validate acceptance of completed work to design requirements.
- Review contractor payment requests and verify constructability.
- Ensure proper resource allocation, assess field status, and resolve issues as needed.
- Coordinate project activities with vendors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and local community officials.
- Assist in scope control, budget oversight, and resolution of technical issues.
- Interface with landowners, local regulators, and state agencies.
- Build and maintain project schedules in Smartsheet.
- Analyze key performance metrics, financial data, and operational trends to support strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
Education:
An Associate's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Land Surveying, or a related field is required.
Experience:
0 - 5 years of experience managing project execution, including vendor and contractor coordination.
Technical
Skills:
Experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet. Familiarity with project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Experience in the construction or renewables industry.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with a wide variety of stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
Travel to project sites is required as needed, up to 25%.
