** Job Summary
** The Improv Instructor plays a vital role within Concorde Education by fostering creativity, spontaneity, and teamwork among students. This role involves teaching various types of improvisation, leading warm-ups, guiding students in scene creation, and imparting valuable tips and tricks to enhance their improv skills. The instructor will design and implement a curriculum that not only teaches improv techniques but also encourages students to think on their feet, collaborate effectively, and build confidence.
The impact of this role is significant, as it helps students develop essential life skills such as quick thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
** General Responsibilities
** 1. Design and implement an improv curriculum tailored to the needs and interests of the students.
2. Lead improv sessions that teach students the fundamentals of improvisation, including game mechanics, strategy, and teamwork.
3. Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
4. Assess students' skills and provide constructive feedback.
5. Collaborate with other instructors and program coordinators to integrate the improv curriculum with other educational offerings.
6. Track student progress and maintain accurate records.
7. Facilitate regular communication with parents, guardians, and educational stakeholders regarding student performance and program updates.
8. Ensure that all equipment and materials are properly set up, maintained, and stored.

Regularly evaluate student progress, adapting instruction to meet individual needs.

Create a classroom environment that encourages teamwork, fair play, and respect among students.

** Technology Management**:
Ensure the optimal performance of any required software and hardware.

** Documentation and Reporting**:
Keep accurate records of student attendance, assessment results, and feedback, submitting reports as required.
