Senior SCADA Application Developer​/Engineer

Overview

Kforce has a client in Juno Beach, FL that is seeking a Senior SCADA Application Developer/Engineer. Job

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide cutting-edge technical and/or functional contributions to application development teams
• Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, maintain and/or enhance existing or new systems that are reliable and efficient
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems, and prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written
• Apply appropriate development methodologies, system development life cycles, tools and technology
• Collaborate on an ongoing basis with the Business Systems Analyst, Scrum Master and Technology manager
• Participate in the ticket management and resolution processes, including receiving, resolution monitoring and customer satisfaction
• Lead large projects as needed
• Provide direction, training and guidance to rest of team members
• Build strong working understanding and documentation of the delivered solution
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Work in Hitachi GMS SCADA system and provide guidance to rest of team members

• High School diploma/GED required
• Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of Java programming experience
• 3+ years of Hitachi GMS SCADA experience with large systems and different connection setups with field devices
• 3+ years of Python programming experience
• 3+ years of Unix/Linux working experience
• 3+ years of working experience with agile technologies and Jira tool
• PERL programming experience is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
