Senior Project Management Consultant - BESS Projects
Job Location:
Juno Beach, FL
Job Type: Long-term Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Project Management Consultant to support the development of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects within the Engineering & Construction team. The role will coordinate cross-functional teams including development, engineering, estimating, supply chain, scheduling, and construction to ensure projects progress smoothly from early-stage development through pre-construction
.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage coordination of internal and external project teams across multiple BESS projects
- Support project development activities including scope definition, permitting, land, environmental, and interconnection coordination
- Assist with financial modeling, budgeting, and project feasibility analysis
- Coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction planning activities
- Support PPA and interconnection agreement negotiations
- Track project schedules, risks, and progress and present updates to leadership
- Help transition projects from development into construction with executable plans
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of project management experience
- Strong skills in project coordination, financial analysis, and stakeholder management
- Experience in renewable energy, battery storage, or power markets
- PMP certification
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
