Project Estimator II

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our project estimating team. Located in the beautiful Juno Beach, FL, this role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within the field of project estimating. You will play a critical role in preparing and managing cost estimates for various projects, focusing on accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with organizational goals.

• Prepare detailed project cost estimates, including conceptual, preliminary, and definitive estimates for new and existing projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to analyze project specifications and prepare accurate estimates.
• Perform value engineering analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain estimation tools, databases, and methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for potential project uncertainties.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Track project costs and variances throughout the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Internship or practical experience in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with cost estimation software and tools (e.g., Plan Swift, Win Est, CostX).
• Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
