Project Estimator-Level 4 - Senior
We are seeking a senior subject-matter expert for a Project Estimator 4 role. This position is responsible for leading complex capital expenditure (Cap Ex) estimating and financial modeling activities for large, high-impact projects. The role requires extensive experience in project estimation, cost control strategies, and market-aligned forecasting to support executive decision-making with accurate and defensible financial evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and govern complex Cap Ex estimating and financial modeling activities across large-scale projects.
- Independently develop and validate comprehensive capital cost models.
- Integrate staffing, risk, escalation, and market dynamics into project estimates.
- Ensure alignment with evolving industry benchmarks, financial regulations, and organizational investment strategies.
- Provide strategic oversight of design reviews to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Lead market pricing and benchmarking initiatives to inform cost models.
- Establish best practices for construction cost metrics and estimating methodologies.
- Serve as a technical authority and mentor on advanced estimating tools and Cap Ex optimization.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
11-15+ years of experience in project estimation, cost control strategies, and market-aligned forecasting.
Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and advanced estimating tools.
Work Requirements
Driving will be required as part of this position's duties. A valid, non-restricted driver's license must be maintained, with no alcohol/drug-related driving offenses within the previous five years and no current license suspension or restriction.
