Construction Manager

• Coordinate and manage construction work performed by contractors and vendors at the project site.
• Assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance on the project.
• Manage walk downs of planned work and validate acceptance of completed work to design requirements.
• Approve contractor payment requests and verify constructability.
• Ensure proper resource allocations and resolve issues as needed.
• Provide leadership and coaching to Construction Supervisors and supplemental workforce.
• Act as a critical bridge between field operations and customer leadership.
• Address logistical challenges and ensure construction activities stay on track.
• Survey and observe contractor Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) practices.

• Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6 - 10 years of experience in power plant commissioning, working with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles related to power plant commissioning.
• Valid non-restricted driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Experience leading commissioning projects and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
• Proficiency in coordinating with engineering and construction teams to implement commissioning plans.
• Ability to oversee system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
• Experience in managing contractor performance and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
