About the role:
We're looking for a Project Manager_ Transmission & Substation on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment (W-2). This is an Early Stage (ES) Project Manager – Transmission & Substation position. You will manage the Early Stage (ES) process for high-voltage transmission and substation projects within E&C. You will lead the development of procurement, engineering, permitting, and land.
This position is not responsible for the site-based construction management. You will report to the onsite manager.
Location:
Juno Beach, FL or remote is an option for qualified candidates.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead development of project plans with focus on execution, cost, and schedule.
- Coordinate diverse teams including Development, Land, Environmental, legal, Regulatory, Procurement (ISC), Engineering, and Operations.
- Prepare RFP packages to competitively source engineering, survey, geotechnical, LiDAR, and construction services.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management
- Experience:
11 - 15 years - Experience managing projects >$100MM
- Manage scope, schedule, and cost and documentation skills
- Ability to travel (~25%)

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $40.00/hr. to $45.00/hr.
