We are seeking a seasoned engineering professional to lead our team within the Engineering & Construction Business Unit in beautiful Juno Beach, FL. This role involves leading a team of engineers and technical specialists, applying diversified engineering principles, and directing projects related to renewable generation substation projects.
Job Responsibilities- Lead and oversee renewable generation substation projects from conception to commissioning.
- Collaborate with project managers and development groups during the conceptual phase.
- Plan, coordinate, and complete large-scale or complex projects within budget and schedule guidelines.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, and resource plans.
- Conduct project meetings and track project progress and analysis.
- Provide technical oversight and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Secure and manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes using formal processes and tools.
- Coordinate engineering deliverables for competitive requests and awarded projects.
- Support commissioning activities and ensure projects are implemented efficiently and safely.
- Provide coaching and leadership to project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in substation design and engineering of high voltage projects.
- Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience.
- Certified Professional Engineer (PE).
- Six Sigma Black, Green, or Yellow Belt Certification.
- PMP certification.
