Position Specific Description

Next Era Energy is currently searching for a Director of Finance, Project Finance for our Treasury organization. Our Treasury group provides shared services and resources for Next Era Energy and all of its subsidiaries. The Director of Finance will be a key part of a team that is responsible for the execution of asset-backed financing transactions for Next Era Energy and its subsidiaries.

Responsibilities will include financial analysis, financial modeling, managing due diligence and negotiating financing documents. The position will work with financial institutions and cross functional teams throughout the company to execute asset-backed financing, tax equity and capital markets financing transactions. The incumbent will also support Treasury’s compliance responsibilities.

• Develops and executes departments strategy
• Makes key decisions that effect processes and policies
• Oversees and controls budget and forecasting decisions
• Directs the execution of financial programs
• Oversees and directs contract program objectives and utilization of funds
• Develops, coaches and mentors team members
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
