Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Supervisor assists in overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage outlets, ensuring an exceptional guest experience through consistent service, quality, and cleanliness. This position supports staff supervision, inventory control, and compliance with health and safety standards while leading by example and supporting the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead restaurant, bar, or banquet staff during shifts

Ensure smooth service execution and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally

Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards in all F&B areas

Train, coach, and support staff to maintain service standards and guest satisfaction

Assist in scheduling, payroll, and monitoring labor costs

Monitor inventory levels and communicate ordering needs to the F&B Manager Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to review goals, assignments, and events

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including alcohol service laws

Open and close outlets as needed, following proper procedures

Assist in the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring BEO requirements are met

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or culinary training preferred

Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage operations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong leadership and team development abilities

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol handling regulations

Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Proficient with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office applications

Physical Requirements:

Able to stand and walk for extended periods

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds

Able to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions
