Responsibilities Research Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute targeted research plans aligned to project objectives and enterprise application workflows.
- Conduct mixed-method research—including stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, contextual/field studies, surveys, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing—to understand user needs and system pain points.
- Investigate current tool capabilities, usage patterns, and limitations to surface opportunities for UI and workflow improvements.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights that directly inform product and design decisions.
- Translate complex datasets into clear narratives and evidence-backed recommendations.
- Transform research findings into well-structured deliverables such as personas, workflow maps, journey maps, insight summaries, problem statements, opportunity frameworks, and usability reports.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Data Science, Human Factors, or a related field.
- 3+ years of user research and/or data analysis experience, ideally involving enterprise or internal tools environments.
- Experience with Jira or similar tools for managing requirements, tracking issues, and collaborating with development teams.
- Experience producing personas, journey/workflow maps, insight summaries, usability reports, and similar deliverables.
- Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to experiment with new methods to improve research efficiency.
- Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Working proficiency in Figma for research handoff, prototyping collaboration, and design feedback.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & AD&D insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
