Overview
As Technical Lead, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of Angular-based applications. You will be a valued member of the Engineering team and work collaboratively with architects, Dev Ops engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions.
Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Angular-based applications.
- Architect reusable component libraries and micro front-end modules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI, backend, QA, and Dev Ops.
- Integrate Angular applications with Graph
QL endpoints and RESTful services. - Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
- Drive CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation.
- Stay current with Angular ecosystem updates and emerging front-end technologies.
Work model: Onsite. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in West Palm Beach, FL

What You Need To Have To Be Considered
- 8+ years of experience in front-end development, with 3+ years in Angular (v8+ to v16) and technical lead.
- Strong proficiency in Type Script, RxJS, NgRx, HTML5, SCSS, and JavaScript ES6+.
- Hands-on experience with Graph
QL integration, schema design, and Apollo Client. - Experience with unit testing (Jasmine, Karma) and end-to-end testing (Cypress, Protractor).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops).
- Exposure to Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Git-based workflows.
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards, i18n, and responsive design.

- Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Strong communication (written & verbal) & interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving & analytical skills.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless user experiences.
- Experience in Travel and Hospitality domain.

Salary And CompensationThe annual salary for this position will be between $81,337 to $141,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
