Business Systems Analyst; ISO

Overview

Responsibilities:
Kforce has a client in Juno Beach, FL seeking a Business Systems Analyst (ISO). The analyst will support and maintain mission-critical Hydra/VB applications, work closely with the energy trading group, gather requirements, and troubleshoot application issues. The role interacts with front office applications that support business-critical operations within stringent trading windows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, situational awareness, and the ability to see tasks through are essential success factors for this role.

• Gather, analyze, and review ISO market requirements for enhancements and system updates
• Develop, maintain and optimize VB automations and Excel integration with internal apps
• Assess and understand ISO-market technical requirements and develop corresponding VB automations with XSD changes and market rules changes
• Communicate application releases and updates with business stakeholders and manage support
• Work with offshore teams and provide clear requirements and technical documentation
• Functional testing of the VB and Macro workbooks; end-to-end testing of Excel add-ins with other IT groups and support teams
• Support day-to-day trade floor operations, troubleshoot issues and errors, and coordinate with responsible teams for resolution
• Document releases and updates, maintaining artifacts for IT–business integrations
• Provide front-end support of critical Excel-based IT applications

• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
• Strong experience with Excel-VBA APIs, index matching, VBA automation, and Excel Macros
• Process map creation using One Note, SharePoint and Microsoft Office suite
• Power BI reporting with trend analysis and dashboard customization
• Agile/Scrum story writing and backlog maintenance
• Experience in application support and strategic thinking to visualize and troubleshoot
• Energy domain experience with ISO/RTO market interfaces is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation the company reasonably believes it would pay at posting for this role. Pay may be more or less than this range and is based on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, location, performance, union contracts, and business needs.
