Job OverviewIn this role, you will work collaboratively with agile teams and end users to design, develop, and manage robust reporting systems. Your expertise in data visualization, analysis, and data warehouse management will be key to solving organizational challenges and enhancing decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities- Design and manage reporting catalogs and make recommendations for content optimization.
- Integrate strategies across multiple reporting programs to align with business priorities.
- Facilitate the inclusion of diverse data sources into the reporting framework.
- Collaborate with Principal Solutions Architects to ensure optimal data platform design.
- Participate in project teams, systems and data analysis, and enhancement activities.
- Assist in developing project scopes and serve as a project point of contact when needed.
- Conduct testing efforts and resolve identified defects.
- Build and modify database tables, views, and optimize SQL queries.
- Contribute to reporting best practices and standards.
- Build effective partnerships with coworkers to achieve organizational objectives.
- 6 years of experience in business intelligence, developing/managing reports and data sources.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including developing reporting architecture, dashboards, and portals.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI security and administration concepts.
- Familiarity with MS SQL Server BI Stack tools and technologies such as SSRS, SQL, Power Query, MDX & DAX.
- Experience with AWS and Redshift databases.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work within a project-based environment.
