Project Manager-Level 2 - Experienced (6 - 10 Years)
The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project execution from field turnover to completion. This role involves managing large-scale projects, ranging from 200 million to 1.5 billion dollars. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for all project-associated departments during the field execution phase and will act as the company representative with various agencies and regulating entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project execution, including staff and employee management, safety management, contract administration, and project planning.
- Manage project costs, timelines, quality, and scheduling to ensure successful delivery.
- Lead the commissioning and start-up of the facility and manage the setup of operations' readiness.
- Serve as the liaison for public relations and corporate communications at the site and community level.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure scope compliance and effective risk management.
- Represent the company with local, national, and international agencies during the execution phase.
Required Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field is required.
Experience:
Candidates must have 6 to 10 years of experience managing engineering and construction projects, including responsibility for budget oversight and execution.
Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with Word is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
Work Requirements
- Driving will be required as part of this position's duties. A valid, non-restricted driver's license is necessary.
