Retail Sales Associate / Customer Service Representative
The UPS Store is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate / Customer Service Representative to join our team in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, working in a fast-paced retail environment, and learning a variety of shipping, printing, mailbox, and small business services. No shipping experience is required—we provide hands‑on training for the right candidate.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Deliver outstanding customer service to walk‑in customers and telephone inquiries.
- Assist customers with shipping, packing, mailbox services, package drop‑offs, Amazon returns, printing, copying, faxing, and retail purchases.
- Receive and process packages for shipment through UPS, USPS, DHL, and other carriers.
- Recommend shipping, packing, printing, and business service solutions based on customer needs.
- Operate point‑of‑sale systems, printers, copiers, fax machines, laminating machines, binding equipment, and other store equipment.
- Provide accurate information regarding shipping options, packaging requirements, delivery timelines, mailbox services, and printing solutions.
- Learn all products, services, pricing options, and industry best practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe store environment.
- Support daily store operations and assist team members as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, cashiering, shipping, printing, office services, hospitality, or related fields preferred.
- Strong computer and internet skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, POS systems, printers, copiers, or Adobe software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Friendly, professional, dependable, and team‑oriented attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Willingness to learn all aspects of The UPS Store business.
