** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.

+ Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear records of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Guard card is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for role.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
