Position: Full Time Business Office Manager

Office Manager

Linden Court is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and service-focused Office Manager to oversee the daily financial and administrative operations of our facility. This position plays a key role in supporting the financial health of the organization while fostering a welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting important deadlines.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least six (6) months of full-time accounting experience; or
  • A minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as an Accountant or Office Manager responsible for:
    • Financial reporting
    • Payroll processing and payroll taxes
    • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
    • General accounting functions and financial management

Skills and Abilities
  • Experience with computerized accounting and bookkeeping systems.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, accounting software, and personal computer operating systems.
  • Strong typing, ten-key calculator, and worksheet preparation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with residents, families, visitors, vendors, and team members.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Financial Management
  • Maintain accurate financial records and complete work in accordance with established accounting procedures.
  • Process and reconcile cash receipts and disbursements.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Prepare and process payroll, payroll taxes, and related financial reports.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of required financial and operational reports.
  • Support the overall financial management and stability of the facility.
Administrative Operations
  • Coordinate and prioritize office operations to meet organizational objectives and reporting deadlines.
  • Maintain confidential financial and personnel information.
  • Assist management with administrative and operational projects as assigned.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer service.
Resident and Customer Service Support
  • Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Foster an environment that recognizes the dignity, worth, and individuality of every resident.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with residents, family members, visitors, and staff.
Professional Development
  • Participate in educational opportunities, in-service training, and professional development activities.
  • Stay current on accounting procedures, payroll regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve skills, knowledge, and service quality.
