First Impression Specialist Intern

Overview

ALLO’s storefront First Impression Specialist (FIS) Internship provides a student with the opportunity to make a direct impact with the customers in the community of North Platte, Nebraska.

The student will join a talented and collaborative team of customer care professionals who will support running the storefront’s cash register and providing a wide range of ALLO’s products to customers, including fiber internet/phone, mobile, and DIRECTV. The intern will also have the opportunity to work with Field Marketing and Events to collaborate on local and company‑wide marketing campaigns.

• Solution focused sales
• Answer billing questions
• Provide basic mobile phone support
• Use company provided resources when questions arise or call on your leader
• Properly document all customer interaction and activity
• Record all customer interactions and transactions via tracker
• Understand basic troubleshooting and ask relevant questions needed to open trouble tickets
• Keep track of office supply inventory and order as needed
• Complete expense reports on time each month
• Utilize other Team’s chat groups for information for other departments
• Assist Events Team in preparing for local events
• Be resourceful and have a strong understanding of ALLO’s vision
• Have a clear understanding of how to educate on online billing and other ALLO products
• Complete data entry tasks as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Previous customer service and sales experience with Microsoft Office is preferred

• Exceptional customer service to all walk‑in customers and prospective customers as defined by secret shopper and customer feedback
• Knowledge of the benefits of ALLO products:
  Internet, TV, and Phone

• Raise objects up to 25 lbs.
• Remain upright on feet for extended periods
• Remain stationary for extended periods
• Ability to communicate information
• Ability to operate a computer
• Possess/Maintain a valid Driver’s License
• Travel requirement: 10%
