Full-time. Shift(s) availability: 24 hours.

Sign-On Bonus Available for Full-Time certified EMTs in Nebraska.

• Paramedic: $29/hour
• EMT: $23/hour
• Non-EMT Driver: $20.50/hour

• Provide patient care in both emergency and non-emergency environments according to company policy and medical director protocols.
• Ensure ambulance and equipment are cleaned and checked daily; report deficiencies to shift supervisor or Director of Operations.
• Prepare and complete appropriate reports including Patient Care Reports (PCR), billing, exposure reports, incident reports, and unit checks.
• Ensure unit and crew members adhere to Ameri Pro EMS policies, procedures, guidelines, directives, and standards; report deficiencies as needed.
• Ensure vehicles placed in service comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain readiness, professionalism, and a professional appearance while on-duty.
• Demonstrate ability to lift, transfer, and maneuver patients safely.
• Perform other duties as required.

REQUIRED Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• State-specific EMT certification/licensure in good standing or current NREMT certification as applicable by state law
• Current CPR: BLS certification
• Valid state-specific Driver’s license
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening
• Strong people skills and ability to collaborate within a team
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English
• FEMA IS certs: IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous EMT or similar medical role experience
• PHTLS and/or ITLS training

• Knowledge of EMS methods and on-site emergency medical services
• Knowledge of protocols and standing orders, and ability to follow them
• Ability to read maps and manage multiple tasks in emergent situations
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to use PCR reporting, email, and MDT applications
• Professional representation of Ameri Pro EMS

Regularly use hands, reach with arms, and communicate. Frequently stand and walk; occasionally sit, climb, stand, or balance. Ability to lift up to 180 pounds regularly and up to 300 pounds with assistance. Vision requirements include close, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustments.

EMS care environments with potential exposure to weather, hazards, stressors, and irregular schedules. May require meetings outside regular hours.
