Position:
Layup Team Member

Shift: 2nd shift (5:00pm-3:30am)

Location:

1120 Industrial Ave, North Platte, NE
Pay: $24.64 per hour plus shift differential and benefits. Base pay varies within the range based on experience and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

• Get correct style and rail carts to line.
• Perform first piece checks.
• Feed materials through the glue spreader according to the production schedule.
• Maintain high attention to detail throughout tasks.
• Complete all other assigned duties as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED, at least 18 years old.
• Experience reading and interpreting production tickets.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Safety-focused: follow all plant rules.
• Self‑motivated and able to take initiative.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Capacity to multitask.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team with shift flexibility.

• Preferably one year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Quick decision making under pressure.
• Ability to train and coach others.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Stand for 10‑12 hours straight.
• Climb and descend stairs or ladders as needed.
• Perform repetitive movements with the hands, arms, or legs (bending, twisting, squatting).
• Lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
• Endure exposure to temperature extremes and high noise levels.
• Handle raw materials and finished goods.
