Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Perioperative Nursing Opportunity

Provide specialized perioperative nursing care within a multi-suite operating room environment. Responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, assisting during surgical procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and facilitate surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and assisting surgical teams.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and overall status throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operation flow.
• Document all relevant clinical information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Support preoperative and postoperative patient care, including assessments and education.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years OR experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Orthopedics and Robotics surgical procedures.
• Possess current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
• Have scrubbing experience; scrub experience is a plus.
• Be able to work flexible shifts including 10-hour shifts starting at 6AM or 7AM.
• Be able to respond to call back within 20-30 minutes as required.
