Seasonal Associate

The Famous Footwear Seasonal Associate position requires individuals who are passionate about creating the best shoe store experience for every customer. You will build welcoming environments, maintain store operations, and help customers find the perfect shoes while embodying the Famous Footwear culture.

• Ace Retail Operations: Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory) are executed and that the store is clean and organized.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer: Champion culture by providing stellar customer engagement and consistently top‑notch experiences.
• Elevate to Your Goal‑Crushing Era: Take accountability for performance, review metrics, and drive sales with purpose and urgency.
• Act with Integrity: Stick to company policies and procedures, seek feedback, and pursue professional development.

• Be a Shoe‑off: Act as a shoe sleuth, recommend styles, and help customers leave with the perfect fit.

Other responsibilities may be performed as needed to ensure the needs of the business are met. Overtime hours may be required to accommodate business needs.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store
• Positive communication with associates at all levels
• Use independent judgment in partnership with store managers
• Working knowledge of retail practices and procedures
• Team‑oriented work style
• Flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours

• Regularly lift up to 40 lbs from floor level to shoulder height using proper equipment.
• Perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
