Position Summary

The Brand Ambassador serves as the face of Caretech within the community and helps individuals and families understand the services and funding resources available to support care in the home. A primary focus of this role is educating individuals about applicable Medicaid waivers and other funding programs, helping them understand the application process, and assisting with the completion and submission of required paperwork.

The Brand Ambassador also drives growth and retention by developing community relationships, generating client and caregiver referrals, attending events, conducting educational presentations, and increasing awareness of Caretech’s services. When a prospective client is identified, the Brand Ambassador works closely with the Client Navigator to ensure a timely, organized, and seamless transition into the assessment and service process.

Waiver Education and Application Assistance

• Educate individuals, families, caregivers, and community partners about available Medicaid waivers and other potential funding resources.
• Explain program requirements and application processes in a clear, compassionate, and understandable manner.
• Assist individuals and families with gathering information, completing paperwork, and submitting applications to the appropriate agency.
• Follow up on pending applications and help resolve missing information or documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of applications, referrals, follow-up activity, and outcomes.
• Clearly communicate that eligibility and approval decisions are made by the applicable government agency or funding source.

Community Outreach and Business Development

• Represent Caretech professionally at community events, conferences, resource fairs, networking meetings, and other outreach opportunities.
• Conduct Lunch and Learns and educational presentations for referral partners, community organizations, families, and potential clients.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with service coordinators, case managers, healthcare providers, senior organizations, disability advocates, schools, churches, and other community partners.
• Identify opportunities to expand Caretech’s visibility, partnerships, and referral network.
• Participate in community education and thought-leadership activities that strengthen Caretech’s reputation as a trusted home care resource.

Client and Caregiver Growth

• Generate qualified client referrals through consistent outreach, education, and relationship development.
• Recruit prospective caregivers through community partnerships, events, referrals, and direct engagement.
• Respond promptly to prospective client and caregiver inquiries.
• Accurately document leads and outreach activities within Caretech’s designated systems.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with referral sources and prospective clients.

Client Navigator Partnership

• Communicate new client leads promptly to the Client Navigator.
• Provide complete and accurate information to support a seamless handoff.
• Collaborate with the Client Navigator throughout the application, intake, and service‑start process.
• Maintain appropriate communication with the individual, family, and referral source during the transition.
