Available Shifts- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Interstate Power Systems is looking for experienced Diesel Technicians who take pride in solving complex mechanical problems and delivering quality repairs. Whether your background comes from trucking, heavy equipment, agriculture, fleet maintenance, power generation, military service, or a dealership environment, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems
- Perform troubleshooting on electrical, fuel, cooling, drivetrain, hydraulic, and aftertreatment systems
- Complete preventative maintenance and major component repairs
- Use diagnostic software, technical manuals, and computerized troubleshooting tools
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend repair solutions
- Maintain accurate service documentation and repair records
- Work safely and efficiently while delivering high-quality workmanship
- Previous experience as a diesel technician, diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, fleet mechanic, truck technician, or related role
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to diagnose and repair diesel-powered equipment
- Experience with electronic diagnostics and repair software is preferred
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
- Valid driver's license required
- OEM certifications (Detroit Diesel, Cummins, Allison, Volvo, MTU, or similar)
- Technical school or diesel technology training
- CDL or willingness to obtain one
- Advanced diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting experience
