Staff Accountant

The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.

• Perform full-cycle accounting responsibilities
• Complete bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
• Manage and support Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Assist with month-end close process
• Payroll
• Light HR and Onboarding
• Prepare and analyze financial statements
• Maintain and review balance sheet accounts
• Support financial reporting and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Utilize strong Excel skills to analyze and report financial information
• Partner with leadership on financial insights and process improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Minimum 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience

• Strong experience with:
• Bank & credit card reconciliations
• Month-end close
• Financial statement preparation
• AR/AP processes
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Desire to grow into an Assistant Controller or Controller role
• High attention to detail and accountability

• Experience in home services, construction, or field service industries is a plus
