Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in North Port, FL. This administrative and clerical role supports scheduling, inspection coordination, data tracking, and communication with builders, counties, and internal departments.
The Scheduling Specialist will play an important part in keeping jobs moving on schedule by managing rough and trim scheduling, inspection requests, rescheduling needs, and related documentation. Key Responsibilities- Schedule roughs, trims, underground work, tugs, and related inspections using Computer Ease, Supply Pro, builder portals, and county systems.
- Maintain the master schedule, update changes, and communicate delays or revisions to the appropriate departments, builders, or clients.
- Track passed and failed inspections using Excel and shared-drive inspection logs.
- Pay failed inspection fees, print failed inspection documentation, and follow up on inspection-related issues.
- Contact county offices to resolve scheduling issues, permit concerns, or documentation problems.
- Assist with coverage for other locations when team members are out and complete other related administrative duties as assigned.
