Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for motivated, tech savvy, and creative individuals that are interested in starting an exciting career in the world of Drafting! The Solidwork Drafter is essential to our organization's success of our Drafting Department. The Solidwork Drafter works independently on creating new projects. The Solidwork Drafter creates 3D models and drawings of Golden’s products.

- Create models and drawings utilizing Solid Works 3D modeling software.
- Layout, draw, and reproduce illustrations for reference documentation.
- Revise existing models and drawings to conform to the latest production standards.
- Provide feedback to production department for design intent, fit and function of parts and assemblies.
- Maintain the technical/engineering database and file structure.
- Maintain company and product integrity by complying with established policies and procedures.
- Prioritize workload and ensure timelines are met.
- Gather information from various sources to complete assigned tasks.

- Golden Manufacturing product knowledge existent and new.
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Use and understand basic measuring tools and techniques.
- Ability to multitask, positive attitude, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Lift up to 30 LBS. Occasionally, 15 LBS. Frequently, 10 LBS Overhead
- Computer skills including Outlook, Excel.
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- One year of Solid Works experience required.
- Knowledge of machining and other manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize.
- Obtained CPR-First Aid Certification
- Completed health screening questionnaire.
- Cleared background check.
- Provided at least two professional references if requested.
- Completed applications, resume and education if requested.
