As a Security Officer Checkpoint Attendant in North Port, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential community location where you will help manage access points, greet residents and guests, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and attention to detail. In this Access Control role, you will monitor activity, document security-related concerns, and help to deter incidents while delivering service with teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or vendor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and other access-related activity according to location procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, property staff, and/or first responders while supporting security-related procedures and access requests.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
