North Providence Public Schools is seeking dedicated, qualified educators to fill Long‑Term Substitute openings for the upcoming 2026‑2027 school year. Applicants must be appropriately certified by the Rhode Island Department of Education.

• Stephen Olney Elementary School – Grade 3 – Aug 27 2026 to Nov 20 2026

• Certified by the Rhode Island Department of Education in Elementary Education Teacher, Grades K‑6.
• Preference for candidates holding or demonstrating progress toward an English as a Second Language certification issued by the Rhode Island Department of Education.
• Preference for applicants meeting the Awareness or Proficiency requirement per the RI Right to Read Act.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
• Provide cover letter, current resume, and three recent professional letters of reference.
• Background check with fingerprinting at the State Attorney General's Office.
