We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This position is perfect for someone with a strong background in food production management, lean manufacturing, team leadership, and performance management. If you are a passionate leader with over 5 years of experience in the industry and a knack for optimizing production processes, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Oversee the production process to ensure that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows.

Implement lean manufacturing principles to maximize efficiency, reduce waste and increase productivity.

Develop and implement effective plans and processes to meet production goals and timelines while maintaining high‑quality standards.

Act as a team leader to foster a positive work environment, motivate team members, and provide guidance and feedback.

Monitor and evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and assist in the development of performance improvement plans.

Ensure all safety and compliance standards are met, and promote a culture of safety within the team.

Collaborate with other supervisors, management, and cross‑functional teams to streamline production processes.

Conduct regular meetings to ensure open communication and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Identify opportunities for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

Prepare and maintain reports on production metrics, and provide updates to senior management regularly.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.

Proven experience in production management, lean manufacturing, team leadership, and performance management.

Strong understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and lean manufacturing principles.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.

Exceptional problem‑solving abilities and a strong decision‑making skillset.

Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for clear and constructive feedback.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with industry‑specific software and systems.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
