Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associate at CVS Health engages customers, manages cashier duties, and supports store operations.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and actively identifying and resolving service issues.
• Offer a warm, friendly greeting, maintain eye contact, and help locate additional items when needed.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory tasks as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring full stocking and operation with updated services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working normal pharmacy shifts to support growth and career development.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that help people on their path to better health.

• Minimum age: 16 years.
• Physical requirements:
  
  remain upright on feet for sustained periods; lift up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and small loads regularly, including overhead lifting.
• Visual acuity: clear vision to view computer terminals, read, and inspect small parts/details.

• Previous experience in retail or customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

• Remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, negligible force regularly.
• Overhead lifting.
• Visual acuity for computer, reading, inspection of small parts.

Part-time: 20 hours per week. Pay range: $16.00 – $23.00 per hour.
