- Provide direct specialized instruction, inclusion support, curriculum modifications, and accommodations for high‑school students with disabilities.
- Develop appropriate IEPs in conjunction with the team.
- Consult with general‑education staff on content areas associated with assigned students and ensure accommodations are met.
- Facilitate all aspects of students’ annual review and interim progress meetings.
- Complete academic testing for initial and re‑evaluations.
- Oversee support of paraprofessional staff.
- Assist with the transition process for the fall of 2026 (school year 2026‑2027).
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education teaching license in Moderate Disabilities, grades 5‑12
- Working knowledge of evaluation and IEP development
- Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting diagnostics assessments including WIAT, TOWL, and Key Math (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Collaborative working demeanor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- At least 3 years of relevant experience (preferred)
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
