Please note that by applying to this role you will be considered for Robotics Process Engineer 2026 summer internship, spring co‑op, and fall co‑op opportunities on the Robotics Manufacturing and Technical Operations team.

Key job responsibilities
  • Manufacturing process optimization projects involving data collection, cycle time studies, root‑cause/problem‑solving initiatives, and creation of training modules
  • Create business process models using best‑practice techniques, including current and future state solution design documents based on collected requirements
  • Gather, analyze and document functional/technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions, and production issues reported by end users
  • Research production system issues, resolve user problems, and engage escalation when necessary (Manufacturing Engineering Support)
  • Conduct periodic project updates and review sessions with cross‑functional team members
  • Support supplier improvement initiatives
  • Document Manufacturing/Tech Ops‑specific process and project activities that support our content and knowledge management initiatives
  • Participate in Lean initiatives, including 5S performance auditing and Kaizen event sessions
About The Team

The Process Engineering Team is responsible for continuous improvement in manufacturing areas focusing on safety, delivery, quality, and cost. The team also collaborates with other internal and external Amazon engineering departments to develop manufacturing solutions for new products.

Basic Qualifications
  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD program located in the United States, with at least one semester/term/quarter of school remaining after the end of the co‑op
  • Are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Must be eligible and available for a full‑time (40 hrs/week) co‑op during the 6‑month co‑op duration
  • Knowledge of different process innovation methodologies and their practical application
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of metrics, process capabilities, LEAN and IE techniques
  • Proficient with AutoCAD/2D layouts
  • Enthusiasm, idealism, creativity, and dedication to getting results
  • Ability to work collaboratively and without direct reporting authority; must be a team player
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with both technical and business staff
  • Excellent written, speaking, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with creating process models
Compensation
