Opportunity OverviewThis position will be part of the Defense and Aerospace Mechanical Engineering team, responsible for designing and documenting complex cable interconnects. This role will be working with fast paced, cross-functional engineering teams to meet project requirements.
- Develop & document complex cable interconnect designs
- Collaborate with multi-disciplined design teams
- Partner with approved vendors specializing in high-speed cable design
- Support preproduction and initial engineering prototype builds

- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- Min 5 years of experience with Cable design and documentation
- Capable of navigating requirements in high‑signal count cables
- Familiar with basic cable and wire types, including termination techniques
- Strong communication required to navigate priorities across multiple projects
- Previous experience with 38999 style connectors highly desirable
- Proficient in Solid Works Assemblies and Drawings
- Experience with Microsoft Visio a plus

CompensationThe base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $160,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive PlanThis job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
