Gpac is a national executive search firm specializing in recruitment for the electrical construction industry. We are currently seeking a talented Lead Electrical Estimator to spearhead the estimating department and shape strategies for major projects at a prominent electrical contractor.

- Lead and manage the estimating department, overseeing all preconstruction and bid activities
- Devise and execute estimating strategies for large-scale commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects
- Review complex project specifications, drawings, and scope to prepare accurate and competitive bids
- Provide strategic insights into project budgets, cost control, and bid presentations to executive leadership
- Mentor and guide junior and senior estimators to ensure departmental growth and consistency
- Establish and nurture key relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to secure competitive pricing and foster repeat business
- 10+ years of electrical estimating experience with an electrical contractor
- Demonstrated leadership in estimating or preconstruction management roles
- Expertise in commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects (multi-million-dollar range)
- Proficient in industry-standard estimating software (e.g., Accubid, McCormick, Conest, or similar)
- Strong business acumen with the ability to strategize and influence at an executive level
