What You’ll Do- Provide support for monitoring injury, illness, and incident‑related performance.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic solutions that improve performance results as required.
- Provide health, safety and environmental regulatory compliance support and report findings, concerns, and deficiencies.
- Respond to client/customer/member concerns regarding HSE matters and utilize stop‑work authority in alignment with Amazon and CBRE requirements to identify unsafe acts or conditions that require hazard controls before proceeding.
- Support compliance with the Principles of Responsibility (Client Code of Conduct) by maintaining privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting organizational assets, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non‑compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and client policies and procedures.
- Act as an HSE subject‑matter resource for the facility and other duties as assigned within the agreed scope by CBRE HSE management and the client leadership team.
- Take proactive measures to identify potential safety hazards and environmental risks associated with robotics manufacturing and R&D activities, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure a safe working environment.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
What You’ll Need- Current authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, robotics, high‑technology manufacturing processes, and facility maintenance and management, or 3+ years in a related role combined with a bachelor’s degree.
- Fundamental knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety and environmental regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing HSE programs and initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience working with cross‑functional teams and driving results in improving HSE performance metrics.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments and learn new safety procedures and regulations quickly.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, interpret instructions, and present information to diverse audiences.
- Good computer skills and usage of MS Office Suite.
- Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP or CHM.
- Strong documentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Focus on EPA, OSHA, local and federal regulations or industry standards for EHS.
- Solid problem‑solving, analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
- Experience with initiating and completing risk assessments.
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and build productive relationships.
- Proficiency in incident investigation techniques and corrective action implementation.
- Basic financial knowledge and ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
