Location:

North Reading, MA

Duration: 6+ months- possible extension/conversion

Salary and Other Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $40.00/hr- $45.00/hr factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Required

Skills and Experience:

• BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent practical experience

• Strong proficiency in Solid Works for 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation

• Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, building, and modifying test fixtures and rigs

• Experience with pneumatic systems

• Strong communication, documentation, and data reporting skill

• Ability to analyze and interpret test data to identify trends, failure modes, and design improvements

• Experience with rapid prototyping methods, including 3D printing, machining, and off-the-shelf components

• Experience with environmental testing

• Experience using engineering project and task management tools (JIRA, Asana, or similar)
