Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10-15 years of relevant experience. Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS for CAD, Solid Works Simulation or ANSYS for FEA, and PDM/Teamcenter for data management. Complex electro-mechanical systems background. Strong CAD ownership. FEA experience. GD&T expertise. Hardware platform development experience. Cross-functional product development experience. Semiconductor capital equipment experience preferred.

We are seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical Engineering group in Agoura Hills, CA. This role will support and contribute to platform product development initiatives for our next-generation Semiconductor Testers. The Mechanical Engineering group develops state-of-the-art, industry-leading semiconductor test equipment. This role will contribute to technical solutions, support design trade-offs, and help identify key requirements and risks. The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Systems Engineering, and cross-functional development teams to translate customer needs into robust mechanical designs.

In this role you will:

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of mechanical design concepts and communicate design tradeoffs clearly.
• Apply engineering best practices to develop and refine mechanical solutions of moderate to high complexity.
• Solve engineering problems with appropriate autonomy and escalate when needed; contribute to more complex efforts with guidance and collaboration.
• Translate high-level product objectives into clear, actionable mechanical requirements.
