Key Job Responsibilities
- Purchasing materials and equipment from suppliers, including electro-mechanical assemblies, electronic components, PCB assemblies, hardware, and non-inventory items.
- Managing supplier relationships and KPIs reported to senior Supply Chain leadership.
- Providing inputs to monthly scorecards and presenting procurement data during quarterly business reviews.
- Planning material requirements, managing inventory levels, managing schedules in our ERP system, and successfully communicating these requirements to suppliers.
- Identifying supply chain material risks and providing transparent monitoring of material flow.
- Working collaboratively with Planning to communicate supply chain risks and mitigation strategies to end users.
- Developing efficient and accurate mechanisms for monitoring and updating open purchase orders, expedites, and delivery requirements.
- Assisting the Global Commodity Management team with maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring supplier performance, addressing supply issues, and developing new products and programs.
- Resolving PO receiving errors and assisting with invoice reconciliation.
- Managing supplier returns, including non-conformance reports, return material authorizations, and processing MRB material.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and leading cross-functional groups to execute improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
Successful candidates will be highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint. An understanding of data management and databases is also a plus.
The ideal candidate must be able to work in a highly demanding yet collegial environment where teamwork is essential.
