  • Manage pricing activities, including monitoring and updating product costs and retail prices in alignment with procurement and business objectives.
  • Coordinate new product launches, working closely with engineering, product development, and supply chain partners to support sourcing, timelines, and execution.
  • Support and maintain vendor relations, acting as a point of contact for vendors and helping resolve issues related to orders, pricing, and product information.
  • Assist with special projects related to procurement, supply chain optimization, and product introduction programs as assigned.
  • Serve as a backup to the Control Buyer, providing support and training as needed to ensure continuity of buying and inventory control activities.
  • Manage and execute procurement needs for new product introduction programs, ensuring materials and components are sourced on time and within budget.
  • Use ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS or SAP, to create, manage, and track purchase orders and inventory-related data.
  • Leverage Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) to analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Apply supply chain and purchasing knowledge to support inventory planning, procurement decisions, and process improvements.
  • Work in a highly demanding but collegial environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners and contributing to a culture of teamwork and mutual respect.
  • Demonstrate a builder's mindset by helping invent and simplify procurement processes, using data and innovation to drive continuous improvement.
  • Act with customer obsession, ensuring procurement decisions and product availability support customer needs and business objectives.
  • Deliver results by managing priorities, meeting deadlines, and driving procurement and buying activities that positively impact program timelines and business outcomes.

Essential Skills

  • High level of organization, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in product data, pricing, and procurement documentation.
  • Solid computer literacy and comfort working with data management tools and databases.
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding, collaborative environment where teamwork and agility are essential.
