Assembly Technician - North Reading, MA

10 company, is seeking a Assembly Technician for a 9-month contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Shift: M-F 6:15am-2:45pm

Assembly Technician is responsible for Robotics assembly, Material Handling, and product packaging. In this position, you will be a member of the Assembly and Logistics team within the general manufacturing team responsible for building, automated testing, and packaging of our client's products manufactured internally.

• Build electro-mechanical units utilizing industry best practices.
• Shipping, receiving, maintaining, tracking, and delivering goods for manufacturing following appropriate protocols.
• Learning systems and tools for material management as well as coordinating methods of delivery with suppliers and customers
• Seeking out improvements in processes to continuously meet on-time delivery of goods.

• 1 year of assembly experience
• Great attitude and aptitude to learn new things.
• Should be comfortable with somewhat repetitive steps
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Read and follow English language instructions
• Hand tool experience is a plus
• Able to work safely in a structured manufacturing environment
