Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and robotics, is seeking a Manufacturing Test Support Engineer III to join their team. As a Manufacturing test Support Engineer III, you will be part of the Engineering Support Department supporting manufacturing test systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, independence, and technical expertise, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Manufacturing Test Support Engineer III
Location: North Reading, MA
Pay Range: $42 per hour on Experis W2 (No C2C)
Schedule:
2nd shift - Mon-Fri 3:00-11:00 PM EST
- Monitor and maintain test stations to ensure production uptime during 2nd shift
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues on test fixtures and associated PCs for robotics automation equipment
- Respond to production floor escalations and resolve test station failures in real time
- Perform preventive maintenance on test fixtures per established schedules
- Coordinate with shift engineers on follow‑up actions and pending work to ensure seamless operations
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with electromechanical systems, test equipment, or manufacturing support
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment with uptime pressure
- Proficiency with Windows OS configuration, basic networking, and electronic test equipment
- Experience with Test Stand, LabVIEW and/or Python preferred
