Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
- Serve as the crucial liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
- Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or on a specific unit.
- Monitor and manage staff, including on‑the‑spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance counseling and discipline.
- Assume patient care as needed and build meaningful relationships by dedicating time to understand patients’ physical, mental, and emotional needs for successful recovery.
- Celebrate patient victories along the way.
- Current RN licensure required by state regulations.
- BLS certification; ACLS certification to be obtained within one year.
- CRRN certification to be obtained within one year.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field preferred.
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting within the last five years.
- Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse or lead capacity) responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and accountability for patient and staff results.
