QA Automation Engineer; Mobile Testing

• SCHEDULE & ENVIRONMENT:
  Fully On-site. Monday through Friday, 9 to 5pm.
• DURATION: 6 month contract with potential for extension

The role supports a smart home security camera product line. The team is responsible for end-to-end quality assurance across web, mobile, and device platforms with a focus on test automation.

• Execute manual end-to-end test cases across web, mobile, and device applications.
• Build and maintain automated E2E tests using Appium with Java or Python.
• Use AI/GenAI tools for test case generation, automation development, and defect triage.
• Log and track defects and verify fixes.
• Support regression testing cycles.
• Partner with QA and development teams on release readiness.

• Appium automation experience using Java or Python
• Hands‑on use of AI/GenAI tools within QA workflows
• Mobile end‑to‑end testing experience on both Android and iOS
• 2+ years of QA experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to independently execute E2E test cycles
• Proactive defect identification and tracking
• Experience with both manual and automated QA testing

• Test Rail
• CI/CD tools
• Version control systems
• AWS cloud testing environments

This is a Contract position based out of North Reading, MA.

• Pay range: $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
