As an AI Engineering Intern, you will work on applied AI initiatives involving autonomous agent design, large language models (LLMs), and intelligent decision-making systems for test and measurement applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore model training, data generation, and the integration of AI capabilities into engineering software platforms.

This role offers hands-on experience building practical AI systems in a real-world engineering environment. We welcome students in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with strong programming and AI backgrounds.

* Design and implement autonomous AI agent systems capable of intelligent decision-making, adaptive reasoning, and structured output generation.

* Develop and fine-tune machine learning models, including large language models, for engineering domain applications.

* Support synthetic data generation, data preparation, and model evaluation pipelines.

* Contribute to the integration of AI agent workflows with instrumentation and software platforms.

* Collaborate with software and engineering teams to prototype and validate AI-enabled solutions.

* Document experiments, model behavior, and results clearly for team review and reproducibility.

* Pursuing or obtained a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to build end-to-end AI or software systems.

* Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (e.g., Num Py, PyTorch, Tensor Flow, or similar).

* Experience designing agent-based or autonomous systems with structured decision logic is a strong plus.

* Familiarity with large language models and modern AI development tools.

* Exposure to test, measurement, or hardware instrumentation concepts is a plus.

* Experience with AI orchestration or agent frameworks (e.g., Lang Chain, Auto Gen, or similar) is a plus.

Compensation:

The base hourly range for this role is $25.50-$47.00. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
