Job Overview
Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company with approximately 36,000 associates across 1,700 locations, has supplied quality products to a wide range of industries since 1953. This role is for a truck driver who will bring materials to customers and maintain high safety and customer‑service standards.
Responsibilities- Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and two‑wheel dolly and ensure delivery tickets are completed.
- Pick up customer returns and verify product matches for credit requests.
- Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, refuel truck as needed, and report any issues to supervisor.
- Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures, including correct use of personal protective equipment.
- Assist warehouse personnel with pulling, preparing, receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material as needed.
- Work overtime when required.
- Valid CDL license and meet all DOT requirements.
- Minimum age 21 with a current DOT medical card.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communicator with a customer‑focused approach.
- Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery, is a plus.
- Comfortable navigating and operating basic technology, such as iPads.
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
Pay: $22.14 - $35.37 per hour (starting pay at $29, may be higher based on experience). Eligible for bonus or incentive plan.
